Weight loss procedures

We help you to understand how each type of stomach reduction works and to make the right choice for you.

Gastric Sleeve (VSG)

This proven procedure involves a permanent reduction of the stomach volume. The greatly reduced capacity of the stomach results in a much faster feeling of fullness. In this way, a reliable and lasting reduction in body weight can be achieved.

Gastric balloon

No surgery is required for this method of reducing body weight. A balloon is inserted into the stomach and filled with a saline solution during an outpatient procedure as part of an endoscopy (gastroscopy) or simply by swallowing.
The gastric balloon can be used in preparation for an operation or in mild cases of obesity.

Gastric bypass

This surgical procedure divides the stomach into a large, inactive part and a smaller part that continues to be used for food intake. The small intestine is connected directly to this smaller part of the stomach ("pouch"). As with the gastric sleeve, you will need significantly less food to feel full - the basis for permanent weight loss.

Omega gastric bypass

This gastric surgery is a simplified version of the gastric bypass described above. Due to the lower surgical risks with equally positive results, this procedure is now preferred in most cases. However, special conditions may make the "classic" gastric bypass the better choice.

“Over the years, I have been able to help thousands of people. Each and every one of them has their own story – often a tale of woe, because obesity puts a considerable strain on both body and mind. That’s why my work has never become routine for me – I am delighted every time I see the gratitude of my patients for a completely new life. My team and I give our all for this. Every day.”

FAQ
